We focus on:
- Assessing yourself— Do you fit the profile of an entrepreneur? What do you want your life to look like—Where does work/life balance fit in? What is your personality style? This step is key to a successful career transition!
- Identifying opportunities— including new opportunities in the emerging green economy, many of which are supported by the stimulus plan.
- Identifying transferrable skills.
- How to network for new careers.
- Building confidence, dealing with stress and disappointment.
- How to start making a career transition plan.
You will be provided with recommended readings and website resources.
You will meet other professionals who are transitioning.
You will have the option to supplement the seminar with one-on-one coaching with Dr. Sarah Warren.
